I have adhd and I take clonidine, vyvanse, and melatonin for it, sometimes I cant get hard.?
Those are the meds I take every day vyvanse in the morning and clonidine and melatonin at night, sometimes I cant get a hard on, I can only get a chubby, would these types of meds even matter in my sex life?im only 16 years old...

How do i convince my parents and my doctor that i have adhd? ?
I'm 14 years old and have had problems studying learning focusing paying attention and all that other stuff since I was 8. Most people including myself thought I was just lazy annoying or stupid including myself at some low points but I honestly always thought there was more to it than that. I've ignored it until now because to say the truth I never really knew what adhd really was. Until recently when I got called in to the guidance counsler to see what was up cuz I failed three classes. He started talking and asking me questions and asked if had always had those problems.when I said yes he asked if I had adhd and I said I didn't know. So he looked up some tests and symptoms on his laptop and then started filling it out based on what I was telling him. And as he was saying it I began to realize likewhoa I thought my mind was just fucked up or something because every thing on there seemed to bring one of those " that's what that is" moments. Like one of then asked if I have insomnia and I said yeah every time I try to sleep random shit leading to other different shit pops in my mind and I usually stay up for hours just trying to get my mind to shut up . I showed the results to my parents but they think I'm just making excuses for being lazy but I'm not I honestly feel like like I have thing. I'm sure if I can convince my doctor that I have it then it won't mean sshit what my parents say and might be able to get treated for this thing

If a child has add/adhd, are they more prone to make serious criminal mistakes?

hi im 19, and ive been starting to wonder if i may suffer for adhd. My whole life ive been a horrible student, i could never sit down and just do my hw or study. i pretty much got by in high school. I tried community college and absolutely hated it, I missed many classes and couldnt get myself to be motivated. If theres one thing i lack in my life, its motivation. as a child my mother got me involved in many activies, and i never stuck with any of them. As a young adult, im now struggling to figure out what to do with my life. It sounds terrible, but nothing interests me, I just wish I could be passionate about something and actually achieve a goal for once. Everyone on my dads side suffers with Depression and anxiety. My dad is going through a really bad depression right now. I always feel like my life is out of order, and alot of the times i can be very forgetful. I always feel like i have a never ending to do list hanging over my head. Recently my anixety got so bad, it caused me to have to quit my job. The boss there was kinda intimadating. Everyday of the week i would DREAD going there, and got really bad anxiety before my shifts. During my working hours there things werent too bad. But then Id continue to stress out about the job while I wasnt working, and many times broke down about it. I eventually quit because it was upsetting me so much.. So could i have adhd or am i just a holy mess. Im hoping if this could be a possibility i could fix it and finally get my life heading in the right direction.

i went to a mental health hospital less than a month ago to do with a rescent thing, and she was asking me all of these questions to do with consentration and how it was b4 and fidgeting ect. But what i am worried about is that the teachers dont notice that im not concentrating r fidgeting ect and they have to fill in this sheet for the lady, to carry out with the test,so if they tick no then they might not do the test anymore ?

Obviously I was not clear enough last time. If a child's father has SEVERE add adhd, requiring special education classes, collecting Ssi for a living, etc, will his child have it, or can he have something worse? The father and his father have NEVER suffered any trauma, they were diagnosed with it at VERY young ages, and were treated correctly with medications. The mother has no mental issues that we are aware of, but did suffer extreme gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, severe anxiety, and living in a trailer with 5 cats NOT cared for properly urine, vomit, feces EVERYWHERE . With all that being said, family history, extreme childbirth, etc, what are the chances of the child having add adhd? OR is there a chance of something more serious? No bashing please. I'm here for help, not to be reamed out about mental illnesses. Thank you
