Is my asthma gone? I used to have it, but now I can smoke and have no problems.?
I used to have asthma symptoms about 7 years ago but haven't had an attack in 7 years. I can smoke and not be affected at all
Do I have asthma?.......?
Ok so lately in P.E we've been doing alot of running and i have major trubbles breathing when I do. The reson why I'm asking is because my teacher has been stressing alot on the subject to 'make sure we bring our inhalers if we do..' anyways when I run, I get tired really fast because I get super out of breath. I breath and breath as deep as I can but I feel like nothings going in and I find myself gasping because I can't get enough air in. I also wheez for hours and cough alot after it. I don't run much because of this. But I've never actually found myself having an 'asthma attack' though, I'm not even sure what it is. I've begged and begged my mom to take me to the doctor, but she just says oh okay okay, and, I need to listen to your breathing first. She thinks she knows how to play doctor. I've been dealing with this for years And she never listens. So ive taken it up myself is it asthma or not?
Can you help me with my asthma?
So I just found out I have mild intermittent asthma, and was given an inhaler, but I still have some questions I want to ask about all this stuff. I've been sick so my breathing is jacked up and I use the inhaler more than I guess I would usually use it.How many times a day do you normally use your inhaler? When do you use your inhaler? When you feel shortness of breath or chest tightness?Do you sometimes wait out your symptoms to use your inhaler or do you immediately use it?That's all the questions I have for now... thanks for the help

Is caffiene affecting my asthma?
I have been drinking coffee in the morning to reduce anxiety and depression, because it calms my mind down. It has been working very well for me, but ive been noticing my asthma gets terrible when i run, and thats odd, cause i never ever have asthma problems, very rarely i will experience wheezing. I looked up and some say caffiene worsens anxiety, others say it treats it. Ever since i started drinking coffee this has been happening to me. Is that the cause or is it something else?
What are my chances to be cured from my asthma if I had it since I was born?

Could I have induced asthma?
I've never been checked because I never really suspected it highly until just a few years back. I'm twenty one years old. I'm not extremely active and am not a healthy eater I know I have to be honest but I'm ready to change my ways.Within the last few years, I seem to develop a wheeze, hoarse throat, and bad cough after running, jogging, and or working out in cold weather. Although I'm slightly overweight I've never considered myself in bad shape, and I love to dance and do other types of cardio. If I workout inside, my cough is never as bad, and I do not wheeze. I generally don't notice the coughing wheezing acting up until I'm in cold weather or after running. I cough and cough and have noticed wheezing for up to two days after a jog.It was never serious enough to get checked out but recently I noticed it's worse. I don't smoke cigarettes but my boyfriend and I do smoke sheesha out of a hookah about once a night or every other night. Even then, I don't smoke much, but it really seems to irritate my cough. The cough is so bad it sounds like a dry whooping cough, and it gets worse it seems in a cold room vs. a warmer one.I haven't smoked hookah for long, so honestly I know it hasn't been long enough to take a toll on me to that extent. Also, the exercise induced wheezing and coughing started long before I ever began to smoke hookah.I think it may be induced asthma, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has similar symptoms. Thanks Also, these coughing fits hit randomly and suddenly, and sometimes I can just be sitting there and find it difficult to catch enough air to inhale extensively. I have to take multiple small breaths to catch up.

Does asthma and Allergy medicines affect immunity?
i take Advair Diskus 250 50, Nasonex. Patanase, Ventolin, Pepcid, another common GERD medicine and I used to take Singular. Ever since I started taking all this I've been getting sick so often and its a long period of time. I keep getting ear infections, sore throats, sinus infections, head aches and I just got pink eye for the first time in my life. Do these medicines affect my immune system? Im 4 foot 8, a kid and I'm not finished growing. please help I used singular but it didn't help me at all... my asthma doctor told me singular doesn't work for some people and I'm one of them...

how are your child's activities different from other children due to asthma?
Could my asthma be coming back?
I had asthma when I was very, very young, but went away when I was three. Nearly 20 years later I'm thinking I still might be affected by it. For as long as I can remember whenever I laugh very hard I get a lot of phlegm and takes me longer than everyone else to catch my breath. I also become very short of breath when I'm out in the cold, or even climbing a flight of stairs but for some reason I can jog for miles fine? . Also, common colds always seem to affect me the worse. Like brother could have the same illness and have sore throat, but be fine in a few days. For me though it always goes to my chest and I'll be coughing for weeks before it goes away. The reason I never considered this could be from my asthma as a child is because I don't experience wheezing, just easily out of breath.
If a person had minor asthma and lived somewhere moist, would it get worse if they moved somewhere much dryer?
Like, if that person moved from Washington to Texas. How would their lungs take it? Would their asthma get worse?
