Is this feeling due to endometriosis?
I'm 14 and have suspected endometriosis. not diagnosed but from all the symptoms I have some dr's say it seems that way and I know that having symptoms is not a diagnosis but anyway.... A while a go, and recently, I had this sudden, strong contraction feeling inside me everything that giving birth sound to be like it was not my period pain that feels totally different No, I'm not pregnant, nor have I ever been, or will be any time soon. I just wondered if this could be due to endo or why it happened. It was dibilitating I had to lie down and breathe really weirdly like really deep breaths as it was so painful and hurt to breath normally. Is it due to my endo, and if so what was happening? Why did it feel like that? Thanks xxyou cannot be too young for endo, you can get it at any age in the years you have your periods, as young as 9 has been reported, although its uncommon in young people. no, its not consitpation although that is a symptom of endo ad my periods are very irregular and heavy, lasting for 19 days sometimes or 2 a monththank you so much, Mary Mary. your answer was just what i was hoping to get well, not saying it was endo , but some support, thank you. my doctor keeps telling me i just need to do a urine sample and that i should just get on with it, that everyone has to deal with it, and that it is wrong to see anyone else at my age. my pain gets worse each month, even codeine hasn't helped. i have ask had 3 or 4 ruptured ovarian cysts, which some say are probably endometriomas, but no one doctors will investigate. though, thank you xx

I had endometriosis ....got medicated and ultimately got it removed through surgery. now it iz back?
i dont want to undergo any surgery...medicines r not doing anything to dissolve the cysts or destroy them... can i live with this without doing anything about it?

Could this be endometriosis?
Back in January, close to febuary, i was sent to the emergency room with an ovarian cyst at 5cm which grew to 8cm in 3 days. They did a laproscopic surgery to remove it and since then i have had nothing but cysts that refuse to rupture or when they do, the pain is incredibly painful. I have noticed here last month something different in m menstural cycle. There will be about a week of terrible back pain that radiates throughout my lower back, into my lower stomach and down through my thighs. Soon as i start my period, the cramps double me over and hurt throughout my tailbone when sitting. and when going to the bathroom to pee i feel an unsual pressure on stomach 2 weeks ago i had an ovarian cyst at 2cm on the right side. When the doctor did the surgery, she found no sign of endometriosis, but since that surgery my periods have become to the point where they are unbareable and im getting new symptoms that are worrisome. I talked to a friend that told me her symptoms, and i was scared to find out ours matched. I have epilepsy and birthcontrol could effect my seizure threshold. I have been 4 months seizure free i fear if i keep getting cysts or this pain should continue what other options i would have.. also when during the week before my menstural any OTC medicines tylenol asprin, ibprofin, does not seem to cut the pain, im always back in the ER. Can someone help me out here,, im at a loss and i fear next month will be just as worse

Ovarian cancer? endometriosis? ovarian cysits? uterine fibroids? hormone imbalance?i need some advice, anyone?
i am a 20 year old female who has been dealing with a messed up out of wack period for a few years i also produce breast milk & i've never been pregnant.. i've had that looked at but of course the doctor didn't do much because im so young. he recommended birth control & im so not for it i feel like it will mess me up even more or cover up a serious issue. i do have a sister that has endometriosis.. & my fathers side of the family has cancer but i don't think any type of uterine cancers.. over the past few years my periods have been beyond irregular i have had horrible pms symptoms.. from CRAZY bloating to being in pain where i couldn't walk.. i could sit here for hours telling you how bad my pms .. i have missed periods for months in rows.. lately it has been non existant almost. i've just been spotting the past 5 months now.. & at the wrong times.. it hasn't even been red blood it's just been brownish... i did have sex a week or 2 ago & i bleed during that & a day after it stopped.. but it wasn't a period or anything... my periods don't come at the normal times & when it does it's just spotting.. when i miss my periods i still deal with pms or bloating or feeling full & cramps all through out the month or even when im just sleeping.. sometimes my pelvic area will have a lot of discomfort or on either side where my ovaries are will feel swollen or be uncomfortable.. i don't have health insurance & haven't seen a OBGYN in over 2 years which is HORRIBLE i know.. but it's hard in this economy & me being so young & i don't want to rely on the government to cover me & i can't get medicaid anyways.. i could go on & on about the negitives with my period & pelvic issues.. i need some advice?? i worry because i could have something seriously wrong & not even know... a GYN or nurse please comment back.. i want someone who knows what there talking about.. thanks

Could I have endometriosis?
I have been wondering for a while if I could be suffering from endometriosis. I have heavy, irregular and painful periods and experience a lot of pain during sex. I also have fairly weak lungs and I know that can be caused by foreign womb cells in endometriosis sufferers. I have noticed lately that I have been coughing up phlegm and sometimes when I cough, its sounds like and feels like I am retching .I did go on the depo vera injection for a year and a half to ease my symptoms but it caused me to gain weight and other side effects so I have decided to stop taking it. I am worried though because although my body isn't back to normal yet I am getting my cramps again and want to know why I keep getting them.I was also diagnosed with IBS but the cramps I get when I need to made a bowel movement have been a lot worse lately too?Do you think it all connected and if it could be endometriosis?

What is the differences between endometrisis and endometriosis?
My ob doctor thinks that i have endometriosis since ive been having lower abdominal pain period like cramps and abdomen swelling sometimes i just feel ill like since this has started. What's the other symptoms of both endo's? I also been having alot more vaginal discharge ive always had it but it seems to be more since this started, and no I dont have an STD been checked. If I do have endo is Laparoscopy the only option to tell if I have it? What if I do will Laparoscopy help it go away? My ob doctor told me to stop taking my birth control for 2 months to see if that will help, doesnt birth control help endo from not happening? I just need some answers, this has been going on for almost a year. I pretty much have all the synptoms lower and upper abdomen pain, pelvic pain lower back pain, feeling ill pretty much all Alena I went to my ob gyn on Friday and he told me to stop taking my birth control pills for 2 months to see if it helps, ive been on birth control since I was 18 now I'm 22 and this will be the first time being off of the pills. My cramps seem to be worse the week before my period white pills and worse on my period and persist until I'm on my white pills and does it all over again. I don't bleed between my periods I just have them ones a month, but one of my periods was 3 days late started on Saturday when usually start wed and stopped the next Saturday, but my period has been a little different since this started. I will go back after the 2 months is over with to discuss what to do next

Is this endometriosis?
hi, i am a fourteen year old girl who has been having her periods for 2 1 2 years. a year ago, i had severe stomach pains on the lower right side, which were so bad i fell on the floor, and i was rushed into hospital. they thought it was appendix related, but after surgery they discovered it was a cyst on my ovaries. they removed my appendix, and drained the cyst which had ruptured since, i have had another 2 ruptured cysts, and after going onto an endometriosis forum, they told me these cysts may be endometriomas. however, they also told me to get my GP to refer me to a gynocologyst, just to talk about what has been going on and to see if they can get something diagnosed. btw i am confirmed NOT to have PCOS i am now seeing a psychologist to ry to help me understand what is going on, but they don't ten know because of my Gp not dong anything. she didn't even have any records of my operation that she sent me to hospital for i have been on birth control since october 2011, to try to control my symptoms which areheavy periods that last up to 19 days, or two periods a month.spottinglower back painfatiguediarreah and constipation around my periodsometimes it hurts to wee irregular periods, i mean, so unpredictable i never know what to expect severe pain just before and during my period which gets worse every monthi skipped 4 periods i am definitely not pregnant and then started again, but instead of a normal period it was brown, and only lasted a day or so. general pelvic pain. however, all four birth controls caused really bad side affects, and so i was stopped on all of them, and then the most recent, Loestrin 24Fe, has been the worst causing nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, mood swings and severe acne. so i stopped this on my own accord because it wasn't helping anyway. the doctor i have already seen 3 at my practice who all say the same say they don't want to see me for another 6 months, and told me a paediatrician wouldn't be interested in helping me and a gynocologyst wood think it was wrong and disgusting to see and talk to a fourteen year old about womens problems. they also tell me I'm too young to have endo, but from what i have heard, you can get it at any age once you have your periods. i am really lost. i have missed so much time off school, like today, because i am feeling a heavy feeling in my lower right abdomen again it is only on the right, never the left , btw its not ovulation or period pains at the moment, its not the time and was barely able to walk last night. it is so painful. can anyone help me, i really don't know where i can turn, and i am too young to find somewhere on my own. my parents always take me and try to explain to the doctors, but all anyone ever says is 'its puberty, it happens to everyone, your growing up and so thats normal.' however, i don't feel normal, no one my age at school has any of these problems and its ruining my life. one dr said the only other thing i have had ultrasounds, which didn't show anything, however, i did have one when my first cyst ruptured and that showed nothing too, although there was something there and the only other thing would be a laparoscopy, which they said I'm too young for so that is never going to happen????? the only other thing is to go private, which i cannot afford its 150 for the first consultation, without other fees...........can someone tell me what they think and what i should do, or if they think i have endo, it would be really appreciated. sorry it so longChloe xxps i can also feel little lumps or nodules about the size of a small stone in my lower right abdomen, don't know what this is

I just had endometriosis removed a little over a month ago, and the pain is back. What should I do?
Since December I have had severe abdominal pain, mainly on my left side around my ovary. I was referred to a surgeon who wanted to do a laparscopy. He went in and found that I had endometriosis that had gotten really deep so they cut out the visible endo. For about 2 weeks I still had pain from the surgery then for a little over 2 weeks I was back to normal, but now I'm back to where I started before the pain got so bad I went to a surgeon. I'm on continual birth control for 3 months at a time. Could it be back already? Could it be something else? I'm scared because I read somewhere online that someone ended up getting cancer after finding out they have endo.

What is endometriosis?
I came across a video on YouTube about how menstrual cups can create back flow that possibly causes endometriosis. Endometriosis is where the cells from the lining of the uterus grow and flourish in another part of the body, like the stomach. Right?..Are the cells and lining dead after it leaves the body, or what?

17 year old with endometriosis?
I'm 17 years old and I think I might have endometriosis S but I thought it only affected women in their late 30s & older?? And my doctor hasn't said anything to me about it.I first got my period at 10 11 and started getting worse cramps the following year, which got worse and worse. At 13, my symptoms hit it's peak, my cramps were excruciating to the point I would vomit.. so I forced my parents to take me to the doctors one day. And my doctor told me I had dysmenorrhea, and just prescribed me some naproxens he didn't refer me for an ultra sound or anything or try to find out why I got bad cramps in the first place. Since then, I've been prescribed 5 different types of naproxens, but none really work for me anymore. Like 2 years ago, my cramps were sooo bad, I was crying so much and felt like I was on the verge of passing out so my cousin took me to the doctor and again all he did was prescribe another naproxen, and gave me this needle and said the pain would go away in 10 mins. By the time I got back home and to bed, the pain was starting to subside and like knocked me out, so I was able to sleep like a baby. I've had sooo many trips to the doctors, but they NEVER tell me anything just prescribe naproxens. So I just gave up on going to the doctors, meeting my fate each month. I've been researching and stuff but shrug .The first two days of my period is hell basically. As soon as my period starts, I begin to feel very lethargic and weak like all my energy has just been sucked out of me. And I have to take my pills pain killers gravol as soon as I see blood, because I start vomiting not too long after that, and if I don't take medicine before that first vomit.. yeah, it's useless. I vomit legit every 5 10 mins for the whole day, I just keep running back and forth, I can't eat or drink, cause I throw it right back out almost immediately. The next day I wake up, my abdomen and throat is soo sore. My cramps are reallyy bad, I can't even explain it.. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the contractions were as strong as child birth. I'm not even sure if my bleeding is regular. And on top of all this, I have hirsutism. I grow hair on my chest, stomach, and lower back it's not so visible on my lower back, but on my chest and stomach. I shave it, but it's sooo annoying I mean, I shouldn't have hair there in the first place I'm thinking it's some sort of chemical imbalance? Would that be the cause of my cramps too?? And should I go back to the doctors and tell them about my hirsutism even though I've lost faith in them . I seriously envy girls who don't get cramps or their periods only last 3 5 days

Endometriosis? Cysts? Help!?
2 days ago Saturday , me and my boyfriend had sex doggy style, sorry for being descriptive . It begun to hurt during so we stopped, and less than a minute after we stopped I started to cramp so bad I couldn't move. It felt like my insides were being twisted and it was unbearable. It is now Monday and it has gotten much better, but I am still sore in the lower abdomen, it hurts to push in that area, and I am bloated. I am also getting slightly nauseated, but it may be due to worrying about what this could be? Did my bf just hit my cervix too hard or tilt my uterus somehow? Or does this sound more like endometriosis or cysts? I am thinking about going to get a pap smear done but I am only 18 and do not feel comfortable telling my parents so I would like to get it done confidentially. Where could I do a pap smear for really cheap or even free? Thank you for any help in advance.

Endometriosis? I'm only 15!?
So I had went to my Gynecologist and I explained symptoms of painful bowel movements, pain using tampons, and horrible stabbing cramps during my period. She diagnosed me with Dysmennhorea. This was about 9 or 10 months ago. NOW The symptoms have worsened. I not only have excruciating pain during my period. I have it about 2 weeks before and a week after I know that equals to a month but my periods are very irregular. Bowel movements are painful 75 % of the month, I have all the same symptoms, stabbing pain in my pelvis left ovary hurts the worst. But all parts are very painful. and near my cul de sac It seems that's where the pain is. I had to take a narcotic just to be able to standup and go to work. I am planning on going back to the gyno, I want a laparoscopy done, but I'm afraid she won't take me seriously. I don't want to just manage the pain of endometriosis, If I even have it, I want to get rid of it. I don't want to find out years down the road that I have it and require a hysterectomy. How do I go about explaining my concerns to my doctor?
