I want to start running but my asthma is getting in the way.. and tips?
I never have a problem with it in normal life but if i run for more than about a minute a minute and a half my chest gets very tight and i have to stop. I have a blue and a brown inhaler neither of which i use normally. What can I do?
How long will it take me to lose weight going vegan and running 2 miles a day?
I am not just going vegan for the weight loss. I have always wanted to start the vegan lifestyle way before I gained weight. So please do not say " A true vegan cares about an animal's life not weight loss." because I do care very much for them. Anyhow, I am a female at 4'11 ft and 130 pounds, but I am very muscular. So its not just all fat.My goal is to get back to my original size of around 100 110 pounds. Along with eating fruits and veggies, I am also going to consult my doctor so she can help me make sure I am getting all the nutrients I need with vitamins and protein shakes. I am also going to run two miles a night and I going to eat around 2000 calories. If you have any tips on how to lose the weight smarter like cutting or adding calories please include it in the answer. I really appreciate you all helping me Thanks Drew
Will running dissolve my muscles?
So I'm doing p90x and when I hit day 90 itt'l be almost right before cross country season starts. I really want to do it but i heard running will dissolve your muscles and all those 90 days will be for nothing. I also want to run the la marathon and do track, but im scared my muscles will just dissapear. What do you think? Should I run or not? If so, how can I keep my muscles from getting smaller?Since sprinting and long distance make a difference, let me mention ill be sprinting during track season
A question about running?
Okay I wanna Join Track and Cross Country for my school, its a good sport and ill loose weight on the bright side Flatter stomach , and i want to tone my thighs before they get nasty looking and all, but will i loose my big butt? I Had a big but since i was pretty much little, and im afraid imma loose and become flat butt? or would it make it bigger with the running making muscles on the cheeks
Stomach pains during running, and after for a few days?
I went running and I was having some cramps when I was running, I assumed I just ate to close to the time that I ran, even though it was 3 hours prior. After I was done about 8 miles not too long I had terrible pains on the left side of my stomach. Now about 3 days later I am still getting the pain, there lower on my stomach, like a little higher than my hip about 2 inches higher and in towards my belly button more about an inch or so .Its not always constantly hurting but usually after I eat or physical activity these past days have triggered it, although sometimes when I stop walking it'll flare up. Any Ideas???
I get a running up my back and am wondering if anyone else suffers from the same thing?
Usually only at night and nearly always while I am sitting. It has creeped me out that much that I will take my clothes off only to find nothing is on them. I live alone so have no one to tell me it is nothing. Could it be related to menopause at all? I get the creepy crawlies, just as I get used to them this starts. It is always up, not down or up and downAlso there is no pain....just a feelingI am pretty sure it is not 'on' me but on my clothing

I have torn ligaments in one of my feet and I also have tons of ankle injuries. I like running but every time I go running in my basketball shoes it seems to aggravate my old injuries. So I was wondering what is the best shoes for men for people with past ankle foot injuries?
My left knee hurts while running? Suggestions?
When I run, my left knee begins to hurt after about 15 minutes in. Sometimes it just hurts and other times, it feels like it is filled with air. My right knee feels fine and completely normal. Also, I am a cheerleader and it doesn't hurt during practice, but it hurts after practice. And it hurts to go downstairs. Does anyone know what is causing this and what I can do about it? Would a patella knee strap help?
Why is my toe black after running?
I ran a lot and played basketball all day. The next day I woke up and the tip of my toe was black and slightly tender. The nail is completely fine .Here is a picture I took imgur.com cDJvm
Is running 5K/day a good way to lower my body fat?
I'm 5'10, 175lbs and in my late 20s. I didn't like the way my body was going love handles, double chin So I started running 5k day about 5 days week and eating far less calories no chips, ice cream, soda, etc and more fruit veggies. I was 180lbs about 3 weeks ago, but I just got my body fat percentage done today and the guy said I was 25 % I had it done twice last year and I was 15 16 % then. Is that even possible to get that fat? I weighed no more back then then I did last month. I can bench 225lb 10 times and run 5k in 25 minutes. Is this not a good dieting plan?
Should i join a public gym or just run outside ?
im thinking of joining a public gym ... but hen again you cant be there without people being in your business , so i was thinking running two miles everyday going swimming and doing jumping jacks , sit ups and pushups at home .. what do you think is better option 1 or 2??

I'm underweight and having chest pains at night/when I run. Should I go to the doctor?
Honestly I'm having a bit of a relapse of anorexia. My bmi is around 17 right now and I run everyday. Lately I'm having chest pains when I run and my heart sometimes starts beating really fast at night. Is it safe for me to keep running? I'm not undereating by a severe amount around 1400 calories a day as opposed to the 500 I used to eat per day . But I have lost about 15 20 pounds pretty quickly. Am I damaging my heart even though I'm not undereating by much?
