When will I start to see results from weight training?
So I just started some weight training. I am doing the Jullian Michaels 30 day shred, which is a combo of weight training and cardio. Im only on day 3 right now. Ive heard you wont see results right away on the scale with weight training, but I was wondering about how long will it take to start noticing changes like inches or actual weight loss. Just curious.
What weight training program and diet would be best for a skinny guy trying to gain muscle?
I'm not trying to lose any weight at all just mainly gain muscle. How long it takes doesn't really matter.

Imma guy playing basketball. I burn a lot of calories daily and need to eat more caloriees than I use but its extremely difficult for me. what food is really good. I heard of such things as cookie diets etc where you can eat a lot of fatty things cake, pancakes, cookies, nutella etc.

Been training for about 3 months now, can see some real difference now But a long way to go till I can get to where I want to be, it's not going to happen over night. But I was told drinking tea and coffee doesn't help the cause, is this true? What difference does it really make?
HIIT and weight training?
so this summer i wanna get in better shape. im not in BAD shape, but not in good shape either. im 6'1, about 190 185 with 18.5 % body fat. after doing some research i think i'm gonna try integrating a weight training regimen with a high intensity interval training program 3 days with weights, 2 with HIIT, 2 days rest . Because my main goal is fat loss, i plan on eating a little less than my maintenance level of calories around 2000 with 40 % of calories coming from protein, 20 from carbs, and 40 fron fats. what do you guys think?
Trying to lose weight: cardio exercise only or cardio + mild weight training?
I was having an argument with my brother who said in addition to diet and cardio workout you should also go to the gym to mildly lift weights. This strengthens muscles in the core as cardio burns the fat I know that diet is extremely important but my question is specific to the type of exercise I should do. Cardio only running, jumping jacks, treadmill, etc. or cardio with basic weight training exercise small dumbells, lat pulldowns, bench press, etc. ? Thanks in advance.
How to avoid your veins from popping out because of weight training?
I would hate my hands to look like a man's. Toning your body is great. However, my hands do not look as they used to before. Any advice. Thanks in advance..
Weight Training Advice?
I am 15 year old and have pretty much stopped growing I'm 6'3" . However, like most other teens at my age, I am still skinny and haven't filled out yet something that usually occurs at about 18 20 . I'm not sure how to explain this, but most people would know that as a teen you stay skinny, until a certain age when you seem to just get 'thicker', and fill out. What I need to know is do you think it is worth me weight training now, before I have filled out? I will see some gains in muscle but I'm unsure if I'll ever have muscles as big as someone in their mid 20s, who has filled out. Will it just look weird and abnormal? Or, by weight training, will I eventually get to the same size as someone who has filled out although maybe taking slightly longer ?
